Please be advised that the NLRB's "Notification of Employee Rights" posting requirements that were set to take effect on April 30, 2012, have been postponed indefinitely. There have been conflicting decisions out of D.C. and South Dakota regarding the NLRB's authority to issue the posting requirements. Today, the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals issued an injunction preventing the requirements from taking effect. Accordingly, there is no requirement to post the NLRB's "Notification of Employee Rights" poster until further notice. Additional information can be obtained from the NLRB's website at www.nlrb.gov. If you have any questions about this or any other labor/employment matter, please contact one of our labor and employment attorneys - Phillip S. Oberrecht, Randall L. Schmitz, Sally J. Reynolds, or Leslie M. Hayes.
